Mo Eldessouky Is a California Employment Lawyer for Workers

Some people find their calling later in life. For lawyer Mo Eldessouky, it showed up early. Long before he stepped into a courtroom, Mohamed Eldessouky understood something simple: people who work hard deserve strong legal protection. That belief has shaped his path from high school to the employment law practice he runs today, serving workers in Los Angeles and across California.

Early Roots in Community Service

Eldessouky started helping others at a young age. In high school, the California State Senate recognized him with awards for outstanding community service. He kept that going through college and was elected Student Body President at the University of California, Irvine.

That role gave him a seat in state-level discussions about better working conditions for instructors and students. It was an early lesson in pushing for more on behalf of other people, and he clearly took to it. He earned his law degree in 2008 and never stopped having those conversations. Today he meets with elected officials to help shape legislation that affects California employees.

Building Skills Beyond the Classroom

After graduation, Eldessouky worked with the American Leadership Academy, where he organized seminars and workshops with Fortune 500 executives. Working closely with corporate leaders showed him how big companies think and operate. That experience pointed him toward one clear goal: protecting employees. More than a decade ago, he opened his own firm, Eldessouky Law, in Anaheim.

His background also reaches well past U.S. borders. He worked for the University of Parma in Italy and served as a committee member for a branch of the European Center for Continuing Legal Education. He wrote a paper for the World Bank on expert testimony, which was presented to the Turkish government. He also spent a summer as an associate in the Cairo office of Baker McKenzie, working on transnational matters and Egyptian Civil Law. That global view gives him a different angle on problems, and it has helped his firm stand apart from others in the United States and beyond.

A Trial Lawyer Who Sees Cases Through

Plenty of attorneys would rather settle and move on. Eldessouky is ready to go to trial when a case calls for it. He has served as lead trial attorney on several cases that ended in verdicts of more than seven figures for his clients. He has also completed several trial academies along the way.

Not every case needs a jury, of course. But clients feel more confident knowing their attorney is willing to take a case all the way to verdict if that’s what it takes. His mental toughness, legal skill, and willingness to go after any company, no matter how big, set him apart in California employment law. No Case Too Small or Too Large

Eldessouky takes on valid employment claims from workers in all walks of life. That includes painful and illegal discrimination, along with wage and hour disputes where legal action is often the only way to make things right. Large corporations, their insurance carriers, and their legal teams don’t scare him off. If a case means traveling from one corporate headquarters to the next, even outside California, he’s willing to make the trip.

His aim is simple: get the best possible result for every client and never let the size of the other side get in the way.

Giving Back to California Communities

For Eldessouky, community is personal. He believes the people around you help shape who you become. That’s part of why he stays active as a public leader who supports health care reform and holds lawmakers accountable for their decisions in Sacramento.

He also mentors students in junior high and high schools across California. Through seminars, workshops, and Q&A visits, he gives young people an honest look at what a legal career involves. His outreach also covers the Medi-Cal system, helping people understand the legal side of how medical providers, health plans, IPAs, ACOs, and related groups work together. Millions of Californians, young and old, rely on that system, so this work reaches a lot of families.

Why It Matters

Eldessouky believes every Californian deserves proper protection under the law, and his community work is only one part of that. The same idea has guided him from his early days of community service to his work in the courtroom today. For workers dealing with discrimination, unpaid wages, or other unfair treatment on the job, he offers something that counts: an attorney who will fight for them from the first meeting to the final verdict.
